Copywriter/ Content Writer (Local / Remote)

Job role:

We're looking for a skilled content writer to work with teams across the company and craft valuable content that will educate our customers and wow our prospects. Your work will have you fiddling with taglines on website pages, writing blog posts for feature announcements, putting together thought leadership posts for guest publications, sketching educational collateral, framing scripts for feature videos, building presentations to better explain features, birthday cards and so on. Your projects will be your own to run, with complete creative freedom, but your content will need to align with brand guidelines.


Responsibilities:

  • You should be able to create effective copy to tie up visual designs for marketing materials, presentations, print, websites, and other design initiatives that support the marketing team
  • Develop, write and deliver persuasive copy for the social media, website, email marketing campaigns, sales collateral, videos and blogs
  • Build and run an editorial calendar; coordinate with other content crafters to ensure standards
  • Optimize all content for SEO to better reach
  • Measure impact and perform analysis to improve critical metrics.
  • You must be a hands-on worker with strong abilities create copy for an existing design AND to visualize a design for an existing copy
  • Your impact will extend far beyond the Marketing team to encompass other teams who may have communication requirements
  • You must be proactive enough to always be on top of all the branding activities being executed, ensuring that there is always that indelible stamp of Deliverr on every touchpoint of the brand

  • Have an impeccable taste and a compulsive eye for detail
  • Be able to quickly deliver strong copy during rapid, iterative processes and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Be someone who appreciates the value of a well-crafted presentation and is capable of clearly and    effectively communicating ideas
  • Have a passion for creating new and creative communication touchpoints through different channels
  • Have excellent spoken and written English
  • Relevant years of experience in creative, advertising or copy writing experience 
  • Bonus: Being a little crazy
  • Have an online link which contains a collation of some of your work

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of working as a content marketer or in a similar position
  • Bachelor's degree in English, communications, linguistics, or related field (Master's degree, a plus) Or you've a creative portfolio that you can share
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to explain complex technical matters in a simple manner without using jargon
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task projects and deliverables
  • Confirmed experience working with deadlines to deliver high-quality output in a short span of time
